Mathura News: Accused in police custody

In the early hours of Thursday, police arrested seven interstate criminals in an encounter in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. They were sitting at one place and planning a robbery. When they saw the police, they started firing. In the encounter, three criminals were injured by bullets in their legs. The injured criminals have been sent to the hospital. Govardhan police station and SWAT and surveillance team took joint action.
SP Rural Triguna Vishen said that the police have arrested Rajeshwar Rai, resident of Pipraya village, Palanwa police station district Motihari East Champaran Bihar, Sunil Rai, resident of Anand Sagar police station Bhilai district Motihari East Champaran Bihar, Mohan Nat, resident of village Pukhriya, Kangli police station district West Champaran Bihar, Lori Mahato, resident of village Purandara, Bhelwa police station district East Champaran Bihar, Sunil Rai, resident of village Anand Sagar Pipraya, Bhilai district Motihari East Champaran Bihar, Ramesh Yadav, resident of village Laukariya, Palanwa police station district Motihari East Champaran Bihar, Ajay Paswan, resident of village Rasulpur, Indira Nagar, Ramgarh district Gorakhpur, from near Krishna Sudama cowshed.
Out of these, Rajeshwar Rai, Sunil Rai and Mohan Nat were injured after being shot in the leg. The injured criminals have been sent to the hospital for treatment. Three pistols of 315 bore, five live and three empty cartridges of 315 bore, an Innova car without number plate and other items used in robbery have been recovered from the criminals. Information is being collected regarding the criminal history of the criminals.
